The following advice applies to everybody when it comes to keeping cool and comfortable and reducing health risks during your visit to The Championships:
- Drink cold drinks regularly, such as water and fruit juice.
- Stay tuned to the weather forecast on the radio or TV, or on the Met Office website - who provide important heat wave alerts.
- Whilst the Grounds have plenty of drinking water dispensers where you can refill your plastic bottles, remember to plan ahead to make sure you have enough supplies and any medications you need in advance of your visit.
- Rest in some of the shady areas within our Grounds.
- Wear loose, cool clothing, preferably trousers, and a hat if you go outdoors. Wide brim hats are best, to cover the neck.
- Use sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15. The higher the SPF, the better.
