Programmes
Set for Success
Set for Success is our flagship national programme, delivered in partnership with Barclays and Youth Sport Trust. It supports young people in under-served communities, who may be at risk of not achieving their full potential for a variety of factors. Through the power of sport and sessions delivered by athlete mentors and teachers, participants develop essential life and leadership skills.
Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative (WJTI)
Led by the AELTC coaching team, the WJTI visits state primary schools in Merton and Wandsworth introducing children to tennis. Around 300 children attend free weekly training sessions learning not only how to play tennis but the life-skills and values sport brings.
Work at Wimbledon
Delivered in partnership with the AELTC HR team, our Work at Wimbledon initiative helps local people facing barriers to employment to access job opportunities at The Championships. We work with our local charity partners in Merton and Wandsworth to offer a supported pathway into employment.
In-Kind Support
We aim to be more than just a funder and use the resources of the All England Club and The Championships to help our charity partners in as many ways as possible. Each year, the Foundation organises bespoke workshops and tours for our charity partners and helps to donate items including clothing, toiletries, towels and plants from The Championships.
