Just go with it, that's the motto of Brenda Fruhvirtova.

Whoever the opponent, whatever the situation, Fruhvirtova takes it in her stride; she's accustomed to living life in the limelight.

Older sister Linda is already in the main draw and Brenda is just one step away from a double sibling showing at SW19.

"We are used to this spotlight since we were really young, it's nothing new," said the 16-year-old.

"It's nice to be thought of so highly. It can be extra pressure but it means you're doing it right."

It’s been a meteoric rise for the Fruhvirtova sisters, making the leap from spectator to competitor in short order.

"We came to Wimbledon as a fan a couple of years ago for just two days," Brenda said.

"I saw Serena (Williams) and a few other big players. I don't remember a lot apart from it being very special."

The world No.137 Wimbledon Qualifying debutant is yet to drop a set this week. She navigated past fellow Czech Sara Bejlek 6-0, 7-5 and then on Wednesday dismissed Katherine Sebov 6-0, 6-3.

"I'm very surprised with my level in the matches because it's my first time on the grass. I'm very happy."

Fruhvirtova has excelled at this level, qualifying for the Australian Open and Roland-Garros in 2023.

In Paris, the 16-year-old pushed Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina 6-4, 6-2 in a first round loss, demonstrating her burgeoning talent to a global audience.

"I don’t know the secret to qualies, I always just take it match by match and see where it takes me," she said. She now takes on No.11 seed Yue Yuan for a place in the main draw.

"Now I know what to expect in these situations in qualies. For sure it's been a big experience for me in Australia and Paris, to complete qualies twice has been really important for my development.

"For sure it would mean a lot to qualify for Wimbledon, but I can’t put too much pressure on myself for tomorrow. Every match at this level is hard, is a test. You never know what is going to happen."

Fruhvirtova is still having to complete her studies on the road ahead of school exams back home in Prague in the summer. But that can all wait, the Czech has eyes on prime time at The Championships.

"Roland-Garros was a really amazing experience for me on Court Suzanne-Lenglen (versus Rybakina). I'll never forget it. For sure I'd like to play on another big court at Wimbledon."
